Daoist Healing Arts

The North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB) has filed suit against the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (NCBPTE) in an attempt to halt their practice of what they are labeling as "Dry Needling". The NCBPTE's position is that "Dry Needling" is within the scope of their practice, and one unique from Acupuncture. The NCALB disagrees. Daoist Healing Arts is in full support of the NCALB as it strives to protect the general public against all negligent and harmful practices of Acupuncture by under-trained and under-educated professionals. For additional information about the differences of position between the NCALB and the NCBPTE, or to pledge financial support of the NCALB in their efforts of protection of the general public, please see below.
